Hello everyone! I'm here with some exciting stuff: the announcement of our first Snapback Saturday! I know we have briefly mentioned on the stream here and there and we made an official announcement about it a couple of weeks ago on our Mixup Monday stream but we haven't had the chance to work out all the details until recently.

That being said, Snapback Saturday I will be our first official tournament, with stream! This is our initiative to do so. This also arose out of lack of much initiative from our community to host tournaments themselves. We took it upon ourselves to not only host this first one and hopefully many others to come, but also more importantly stream it!

This goes out to all of you OS'ers. We need your help. For anyone that watched us on a regular basis that is local to us, please join us on 4/16/11 for a day full of hype and entertainment, along with meeting all of us as well! For all of you that are not local, please tune in to the first Snapback Saturday stream that will be going on the day of the tournament.

I will be hosting the tournament while Ryan Hunter takes care of all of the streaming business will special commentary from the likes of sighrAx, FlashMetroid, Ryan, myself and a couple of other possible locals!

Venue Fee

This covers an all day pass to play in the console room: $5

Games

Super Street Fighter 4 (singles): $10
Marvel vs Capcom 3 (singles): $10

All of the above tournaments will be run on XBOX 360. Unless requested otherwise, we don't have the capabilities of running them on PS3.

The singles tournaments will be based on a double elimination system. I you lose your first match, you are not out. You still have another chance through the losers bracket. Finals will all be 3 out of 5.

Payout

Pot Prizes for all tournaments as follow:
1st Place: 70%
2nd Place: 20%
3rd Place: 10%

Schedule

Registration: 1 PM
SSF4 Singles: 2 PM
Marvel 3 Singles: 5 PM

This is going to be a BYOC Tournament: BRING YOUR OWN CONTROLLER PLEASE!
Be it a fighting pad, an XBOX controller, or an arcade stick.
NOTE: Top 8 for both games will be streamed as well as featured matches.
